Lovely is the smell of the dough. The magnificent blend of vanilla, sugar, butter and peanut butter whiffs beneath me as I scrape the spatula around the bowl.
I can hardly wait for the peanut butter blossom’s signature moment. Those few seconds where the chocolate star is lightly placed on a freshly baked cookie, still warm, nearly melting into its golden base.
It’s 12 minutes until that glorious moment.
Yum!!! You create such urgency around that momentous moment. “I can hardly wait” and “12 minutes.” Indeed a moment worth writing about. Enjoy that first bite!

I love your slice. It is like you wrote an adoring love letter to your cookies. (They look scrumptious by the way)

Those cookies look yummy. I’m trying so hard not to stuff my pie hole w/ treats while on lockdown.

Oh man!! Those LOOK amazing! And I don’t (–sob–) have those ingredients on hand to make it happen. Maybe in a few weeks once quarantine is over…? 😦 I hope you had a wonderful time with family making the sweet treats!!
